Céad Seachtain i Rang a 5!!

Seamus Heaney recently passed away, so we decided to learn his poem Mid-Term Break. It was a very sad poem but we really liked it.
After Seamus Heaney passed away, everyone decided to do a project on a Nobel Laureate in groups.

We were doing synonyms  and we started doing them on colour charts, all various shades of green. We came up with four or five words on every chart.

The teacher ripped pages out of books and we made a non-rhyming poem out of some of the words.

Bhíomar ag deanamh contaetha na hEireann ach nior dobraigh sé amach
Romh mhaith!!
Rinneamar ealain le pastels agus carta.
Ni raibh sé ró dheacair, ach bhí sé go maith.
